Posted : 25 August 2023
Nottingham Forest is actively engaged in the transfer market, having made numerous moves, and they have now set their sights on Nigerian full-back Zaidu Sanusi.
The Porto left-back's performances have attracted the attention of the Nottingham Forest leadership, with the club aiming to solidify the left full-back position.
Sanusi, who has spent four seasons at Porto, boasts 114 appearances and six goals since his 2020 switch from Santa Clara.
With fifteen Super Eagles appearances since his 2020 debut, Sanusi's profile is significant.
Despite Nottingham's previous interest in another player, their summer signings, including Ola Aina and Gonzalo Montiel, have strengthened their full-back options.
Nottingham Forest's potential move for Sanusi, valued at around fifteen million euros, could lead to adjustments in their current full-back lineup.
This move would bring Sanusi alongside international compatriots Taiwo Awoniyi, Ola Aina, and Emmanuel Dennis at the club.
