Atalanta delivered a stunning 3-0 win over Serie A leaders Napoli on Sunday, with Ademola Lookman netting two goals to secure a memorable victory.
Napoli, aiming to extend their lead over Inter Milan, was left disappointed as Atalanta ended their unbeaten streak that had persisted since mid-August, leaving fans at Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in shock.
The first breakthrough came just 10 minutes into the game when Lookman capitalized on a header from Marten de Roon, sending the ball past Napoli’s goalkeeper Alex Meret from close range.

Lookman then struck again after the half-hour mark, expertly curling a shot into the net. Napoli's coach Antonio Conte expressed frustration with his defense for allowing the forward so much room to maneuver.
Napoli struggled to generate clear scoring opportunities throughout the match, with their closest attempt being a shot from Scott McTominay, which struck the post.
In stoppage time, Mateo Retegui added a third goal, his 11th of the season, sealing the victory for Atalanta and confirming their dominant performance.
With this win, Atalanta advanced to 22 points, taking the second spot in the league standings before the other scheduled matches of the day.
