Arsenal claimed an exciting 5-3 pre-season friendly victory against Barcelona at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, with Leandro Trossard stealing the show by scoring twice in the second half.
Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz also contributed to the Gunners' comeback with two equalizers in the first half, leveling the score after Robert Lewandowski's early opener for Barcelona.
The match at the NFL's Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers' home saw a thrilling display of goals. After Saka's 13th-minute equalizer, he missed a penalty later in the first half. Martin Odegaard's deflected free-kick and his assist for Havertz's goal ensured Arsenal went into halftime level.
In the second half, Trossard took charge, netting his first goal with a precise finish into the bottom corner after 55 minutes. He then sealed his brace with a first-time strike from Kieran Tierney's pass. Despite Ferran Torres' late goal giving Barcelona some hope, Fabio Vieira's impressive long-range effort secured the victory for Arsenal.
With the Premier League runners-up gearing up for their season, Arsenal will face Treble winners Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley on 6 August. The entertaining clash in Los Angeles demonstrated the attacking prowess of both teams and provided an exciting spectacle for football fans.
