Wael Riad, the coach of the Egypt U19 national team, has included Cam'ron Ismail, a tri-national defender from Arsenal, in his roster for an ongoing training camp in Ismaila until Friday, October 20.
Ismail, an Arsenal first-year scholar, possesses eligibility to represent Egypt due to his Egyptian mother, as well as Nigeria through his father, and England, where he was born and raised.
The Egyptian Football Association proactively included Ismail in the training camp roster after discussions with the player and his family, making a move to secure his commitment ahead of other nations.
Under the guidance of Arsenal's Egyptian legend Mohamed Elneny, Ismail received training while pursuing his coaching badges.
Among the twelve defenders in the training camp, the 16-year-old Ismail stands out.
Spotted while playing at an Elite Development Academy Soccer shop window, Ismail joined Arsenal at the U15 level.
In the current season, the left-back has actively participated in most of Arsenal's U18 Premier League matches, starting in three and making three substitute appearances.
