At Audi Field, Kai Havertz participated in a skills challenge, attempting 14 crosses and volleys but unfortunately failed to succeed in any of them. However, just 24 hours later, in Arsenal's match against Major League Soccer's All-Stars, Havertz showed his true capabilities.
In the final minute of the game, when Marquinhos sent a cross from the right wing to the far post, Havertz demonstrated composure, controlling the ball on his chest, and confidently smashed it into the far corner, scoring a brilliant goal.
Football has a way of highlighting moments that truly matter, and Havertz's goal in this match proved that. Despite this being just one game for Arsenal, and other more important nights to come, the team's performance in the 5-0 victory was impressive.
The match took place in front of a large crowd of over 20,000 at Audi Field, with the majority being passionate Gunners supporters. The win also set a record as the biggest victory ever by a European side in the All-Star game.
Manager Mikel Arteta expressed his satisfaction with the team's performance, with goals from Gabriel Jesus, Leandro Trossard, Jorginho, Gabriel Martinelli, and Havertz contributing to the victory.
Although this match may be a footnote in the team's overall journey, the players, including Havertz, can take pride in their performance and the support they received from their fans in the stands.
