Arsenal Confident in Keeping Saliba Amid Real Madrid Interest

Arsenal remains optimistic that French defender William Saliba, aged 23, will continue his career at the Emirates Stadium despite interest from Real Madrid. The Gunners have been keen to secure Saliba's future, viewing him as a key player in their defensive lineup. His impressive performances have attracted attention from top clubs, but Arsenal is determined to retain him as they look to build on their recent successes.

 

Juventus is reportedly considering a move for Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin, a 27-year-old England forward whose contract is set to expire in the summer. The Italian club sees Calvert-Lewin as a potential addition to bolster their attacking options. His experience and skill could provide valuable depth to Juventus as they seek to remain competitive in Serie A and European competitions.

 

In managerial news, Manchester United reached out to Stuttgart's 42-year-old manager, Sebastian Hoeness, over the summer regarding the possibility of replacing Erik ten Hag, but he declined the opportunity. United continues to explore other managerial options, with former Chelsea and Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel being considered despite his links to the England national team job. The Football Association has not yet formally interviewed any candidates for the England managerial position, leaving Lee Carsley in the interim role for now.

 

In transfer updates, Arsenal's Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, a 21-year-old forward, is being monitored by Borussia Monchengladbach, while German center-back Marvin Friedrich, 28, may depart from the same club in January. Arsenal is also competing with Tottenham to sign 22-year-old Ukrainian attacking midfielder Georgi Sudakov from Shakhtar Donetsk. Additionally, Barcelona, Arsenal, and Newcastle are all showing interest in signing 28-year-old German winger Leroy Sané from Bayern Munich as the winter transfer window approaches.
