Chituru Odunze, the American goalkeeper of Nigerian descent, has officially departed Leicester City after a productive four-year tenure with the club.
Leicester City confirmed his move to Major League Soccer Next Pro side Crown Legacy FC via their official website, and the transfer is subject to league and international clearance.
Joining Crown Legacy FC, which serves as the reserve team for MLS side Charlotte FC, Odunze's transfer fee remains undisclosed.
Having progressed from Leicester City's U18s, the 20-year-old shot-stopper made a significant impact in the development squad.
He featured in 10 league matches for the U18s before moving up to the Premier League 2, where he made 25 appearances and kept five clean sheets.
Odunze's outstanding performances earned him a nomination for the Premier League 2 Save of the Season, highlighting a fantastic save he made in a home win over West Ham last season.
While he didn't get the chance to feature for Leicester City's first team during his time at the King Power Stadium, Odunze made it to the matchday squad on three occasions, showcasing his potential and earning valuable experience during his stay with the club.
