Alex Iwobi confident ahead of Super Eagles' clash with Libya

Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has expressed confidence in the team's readiness for their upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Libya.


Speaking on the expectations from the team ahead of the crucial double-header, Iwobi reassured fans that the team was fully prepared to deliver.


“Nigerians should expect that we are going to give 100 percent.”


He also highlighted the strong form of the players at their respective clubs.


“Everybody is doing well at their clubs, and we will bring that same energy and get the result we want.”


The Super Eagles are set to host Libya in Uyo on Friday before heading to Benghazi for the return leg, with hopes high for maximum points to boost their qualification chances.
