Al Ahli offer Mahrez lucrative contract and bonuses to lure him away from City

According to a source, Al Ahli is prepared to present Riyad Mahrez with a lucrative contract worth €100 million, along with bonuses, in order to entice him to leave Manchester City. A delegation led by Al Ahli's president, Waleed Muaath, has been in London discussing potential deals with various players, including Mahrez.
Although Mahrez still has two years remaining on his current contract with Manchester City, reports suggest that he has grown frustrated with his limited playing time under Pep Guardiola this season.
While he started in 22 Premier League matches during the 2022-23 campaign, he has often found himself on the bench for important Champions League knockout fixtures. His most recent European start was against RB Leipzig on February 22nd.
With this in mind, Al Ahli is hopeful of orchestrating a noteworthy transfer by persuading Mahrez to make a move to the Middle East. The recent signings of Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo by Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League, along with the expected addition of N'Golo Kante, further demonstrate the league's ambition to attract high-profile players.
The source involved in the negotiations stated that Al Ahli has indicated their willingness to offer Mahrez an annual salary of €50 million, with additional bonuses, for a two-year contract, including the option of extending for a third year.
