Ahead of 2024/2025 NNL Season: Nkiyu assures fans of Gombe United's NPFL promotion

The newly appointed coach of Gombe United FC, Bala Nikyu, has promised the club's fans an immediate return to the Nigeria Premier Football League.


Recall that the Savannah Tigers were relegated to the Nigeria National League (NNL) after finishing last in the 2023/2024 NPFL season.


The seasoned Nigerian football coach was contracted by the management of Gombe United with the goal of returning the club to the elite league.

 


Nikyu is also expected to bring his wealth of experience to the club and provide solutions to revive the fortunes of the Savannah-based team.


The club's management believes that Nikyu's tactical prowess and motivational skills will be instrumental in turning the team's fortunes around.


As a former coach of Nasarawa United and Plateau United, Nikyu has a proven track record of success in the NPFL. 


He is known for his ability to get the best out of his players, and his teams are often praised for their discipline and organization.


Nikyu has expressed his readiness for the task ahead and the new challenge, promising to work tirelessly to ensure that Gombe United becomes a formidable force and returns to the NPFL by the end of the season.
