Ahead of 2024/2025 NNL Season: Former coach of Ikorodu City FC joins new club

Ijebu United has announced the appointment of Bright Ozebagbe as the new Head Coach of the club.


Ozebagbe, who signed a one-year contract with the Warriors from Ijebu Ode, was officially unveiled on Friday, November 1, 2024, and is expected to immediately swing into action with the recruitment of players and other technical matters in preparation for the club's activities during the 2024/2025 football season.

Widely traveled and vastly experienced, he led Ikorodu City to the NPFL at the end of the 2023/2024 NNL season and to the national quarter-final stage of the President Federation Cup competition.


He recently stepped down from his position at Ikorodu City after four Premier League games, citing personal reasons.


Ozebagbe expressed appreciation for the opportunity to work with the club, promising to bring his wealth of experience to bear in returning the club to its glorious days.
