After Ejuke, another Super Eagles striker leads big-five dribbling stats

Nantes winger Moses Simon has emerged as the leading dribbler in Ligue 1, following in the footsteps of fellow Super Eagles player Chidera Ejuke, who leads La Liga in dribbles completed. 


In La Liga, Ejuke has successfully completed 28 dribbles in eight matches, placing him ahead of notable Ballon d'Or contenders like Lamine Yamal (27), Kylian Mbappé (23), and Vinícius Júnior (20). 


Similarly, Ligue 1 confirmed that Simon has executed 25 successful dribbles this season, the highest in the French league so far, proving his outstanding form and consistency. 


Despite the presence of prominent dribblers in Ligue 1, including Paris Saint-Germain's Ousmane Dembélé and Bradley Barcola, Simon’s top ranking reflects his exceptional contributions for Nantes. 


Simon has been a key player for Nantes, starting all league matches this season, scoring two goals, and providing two assists, marking his influence in nearly every game. 


His scoring and playmaking streak spanned four consecutive matches, beginning with his goal in a 2-0 victory over AJ Auxerre and concluding with an assist against Angers SCO on matchday five.


On the international stage, Simon continued to shine, delivering a crucial assist in Nigeria's recent 1-0 win over Libya in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. As Nigeria prepares to face the Mediterranean Knights again, Simon aims to sustain his form and make a significant impact.
