In his address to the team, Chioke urged them to be good ambassadors for the country while ensuring they perform well on the pitch to secure a result that will see the club qualify for the group stage of the competition.
“We at Afrinvest (West Africa) Limited are proud of your exploits both on the domestic and continental scenes.
Our partnership has been rewarding, and we believe it will improve with more stellar performances, especially in the next match you will play in Angola, which will see us qualify for the group stage of the competition.
Qualifying will end a long wait to participate in the group stage of the most prestigious club competition on the continent.
Rest assured that we have great packages for you upon your return from Angola,” stated the GMD of the leading independent investment banking firm.
The GMD/CEO of Rangers, Amobi Ezeaku, thanked the club's major partners for their support and belief in the club's activities.
“We are going to Angola to represent our country perfectly.
We are physically, psychologically, and mentally prepared for the task at hand.
The players are highly motivated and eager to perform well on the pitch and qualify for the group stage of the competition.”
The reigning NPFL champions' captain, Chinemerem Ugwueze, said, “We, the players, are fully ready to give our best on the pitch against the Angolans, who are a good side.
Motivation is very high. Our training sessions have been productive, and we are in the right frame of mind to play our game. We believe we will qualify for the group stage.”
