African Games 2023: CAF announces eight men’s football teams for Ghana 2023 African Games

The upcoming 2023 African Games in Accra, Ghana, will feature a fierce competition in the men's football event, as announced by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Scheduled for March, the tournament will bring together national U20 teams from various African countries, including Benin, Congo, Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, South Sudan, Tunisia, and Uganda. Additionally, the host nation, Ghana, will be eager to make a mark in front of their home crowd.


One of the standout teams in the competition is Nigeria, represented by their U20 team, the Flying Eagles. Having secured a silver medal in the previous edition held in Rabat, Morocco, the Flying Eagles are determined to elevate their performance and contend for the gold medal this time around. The team's aspirations reflect the intense level of competition expected among the participating nations.


The African Games in Accra are scheduled to take place from March 8th to 24th, 2024, providing an exciting platform for football enthusiasts across the continent.
