Ademola Lookman on CAF's top five for `Africa Player Of The Year'

As the day draws closer to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Gala night for the crowning of the 'African Footballer of the Year,' Nigeria and Atalanta FC forward Ademola Lookman has made it into the top five favorites.  


Lookman is among the top contenders on CAF's final five-man shortlist for the Africa Player of the Year award.

CAF announced the top five nominees for the 2024 Africa Player of the Year award on Monday.  


However, Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong failed to make the final five-man list.  


The nominees include Simon Adingra (Côte d’Ivoire), Serhou Guirassy (Guinea), Achraf Hakimi (Morocco), Ademola Lookman, and Ronwen Williams (South Africa).
