AC Milan has secured the signing of Spain forward Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid on a four-year contract, with an option for an additional year. The Serie A club activated Morata's release clause, reportedly around £11 million, to bring the 31-year-old to Italy.
Morata recently captained Spain to victory in Euro 2024, showcasing his leadership and skill. He began his professional career with Real Madrid and has also played for Juventus and Chelsea, winning two Champions League titles with Madrid and two Serie A titles with Juventus.
In addition to his club success, Morata has been a key player for the Spanish national team, scoring 36 goals in 80 appearances. His time at Chelsea also saw him lift the FA Cup, further solidifying his reputation as a top forward.
