Abuja-born striker, Tani Oluwaseyi, has been honored as the USL Championship Player of the Week, along with securing a place in the league's esteemed Team of the Week.
This recognition came after his awe-inspiring performance for San Antonio FC against Hartford, where he scored a remarkable four goals in a 5-3 victory.
His four-goal haul in a single match set a new record for San Antonio FC, making him the first player in the club's history to achieve such a feat.
His overall tally of 13 goals this season established a new single-season best for the club and positioned him as the leading goal scorer in the USL Championship.
Oluwaseyi's incredible skills have resulted in three hat tricks in just 12 matches this season, making him only the second player in the league's history to achieve this feat in a single season, following in the footsteps of Matt Fondy in 2015.
This prestigious Player of the Week accolade marks the second time Oluwaseyi has received this recognition this season, previously earning it in July for securing his second hat trick of the season.
His remarkable achievements have cemented his place as a goalscoring machine for San Antonio FC while on loan from Major League Soccer side Minnesota United.
