Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan endured another painful loss away to Abia Warriors in Aba for Match Day 14 of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) at Aba Township Stadium on Sunday.

Things looked cloudy for Abia Warriors in the 30th minute as Ojonugwa Adejoh got injured and was replaced by Moses Uche.
The visitors, Shooting Stars, however, got the first goal of the day in the 38th minute.
Just when the first half was about to end, Abia Warriors equalized in the 45+2 as Kelechi Nnochiri scored after Yakubu Monday provided the assist.
The visitors, Oluyole Warriors, had the opportunity to double the lead in the 47th minute as Anaemena Ifeanyi fouled Shooting's Kareem, leading to a penalty that was saved by Sharp Uzoigwe.
Erasmus Onuh got the needed chance to double the lead through a 57th-minute penalty as newly introduced Paschal Nwabueze was brought down by the Shooting goalkeeper in the box.
Anaemena Ifeanyi took the penalty and scored as the host took the lead.
Abia Warriors got another goal in the 81st minute as Samson Obi added his name to the scoresheet, with Paschal Nwabueze providing the assist. The super sub with a goal and an assist to his name.
Just when fans thought the match had ended, the Oluyole Warriors scored to reduce the deficit to 3-2.
