Abia Warriors take a trip to Ilorin against Kwara United

As Abia Warriors is set to engage their host Kwara United FC for the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 2, the Aba Warlords will fancy an away win against less-fancied Harmony Boys.

The Ilorin Township battle may be a tricky tie against Kwara United on Sunday, owing to the fact that the later deservedly lose their opening match against the elite league returnee Katsina United FC by a lone goal.

On the other side The Erasmus Onuh-led Abia Warriors have shown more determination as they opened their campaign with a narrow 1-0 victory over Niger Tornadoes, at the Umuahia Township Stadium. 

The Kabiru Dogo led Afonja Warriors will want to avoid a home defeat which will put the club in a precarious position in the league infact they may be locked in the relegation zone.

Abia warriors is one of the worst away teams in the league, and it will be a surprise to football fans if they secure a positive result against Kwara United on Sunday.
