Abia Warriors' Collins Nwoburuoke assures fans of team's commitment

Abia Warriors' dependable defender, Collins Nwoburuoke, has taken the time to write to Abia Warriors fans and followers in the wake of the team's back-to-back defeats in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League season.

The club's passionate supporters across the globe are obviously unhappy with the recent poor results that have pushed Umu Chineke further down the league table, sparking a wave of emotions among the fans.

Abia Warriors lost to Heartland FC of Owerri in an Oriental derby at Umuahia Township Stadium, and despite going in front against Lobi Stars FC in Lafia in their last fixture, they still went on to lose in the end.

These results did not sit well with the club's supporters, who are questioning the team's ability to better last season's performance.

In response to this, Nwoburuoke, in a letter to the fans, has assured them of the team's commitment and resolve to fight on all fronts for positive results moving forward.

"To the entire Warriors' Nation, we appreciate your loyalty and patience. We're rebuilding, recharging, and refocusing. Our winning culture will be restored, and we'll dominate the pitch once more.

Abia Warriors' next fixture is the Abia derby against former African champions, Enyimba International Football Club of Aba, at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 4 p.m.
