Abeokuta City boys won away from home

The Match 9 of the 2022/2023 Nigeria National League (NNL) Group B3 produced yet an outstanding result for Abeokuta Stormers FC (Formerly Nilayo FC) as they defeated Ikorodu City United FC away from home 3-1.

The Abeokuta City Boys were able to maintain their firm grip on the Group B3 table with the convincing away Group to top the table with 17 points.

Abeokuta Stormers have been fantastic so far in their last five matches as they have lost only once and have a draw winning the rest of their matches.

So far, Abeokuta Stormers have 17 points from eight matches with three points advantage over the closest rival, Ekiti United FC with 13 points.

Abeokuta Stormers have won five matches, drew 2 and lost one game in eight matches and have 17 points to sit first on the table, however, the City Boys are on course to qualification to the NNL Super 8 with two games to spare.
