The Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, has charged the players of the Oluyole Warriors to return to winning ways from Wednesday's NPFL matchday 11 encounter against visiting Plateau United of Jos.
The 3SC helmsman, while addressing the players in their camp, explained the importance of victory in the midweek game, scheduled for the Lekan Salami Stadium.
He stressed that it was time for the club to start making its supporters happy.
"We are here to further demonstrate our love and believe in you guys and presently, we know we are not in the position we should be, after our superlative performance during the pre season tournament in Lagos.
"I want to challenge you to do your best and start getting the much needed result as from tomorrow.
"You must strive to justify the effort of your coach, (Gbenga Ogunbote), who is one of the best coaches in the country", he said.
The 3SC boss was accomoanied by the acting General Manager, Dimeji Lawal and the Director of Administration and Supply, Alhaji Rahman Olapade.
Akoro restated the readiness of the management to continue to prioritise the welfare of the players, urging them to shun any form of distractions and stay focused.
"We have a governor, who has the love of the club at heart, always taking the issue of the club with utmost importance and only a good result will make him happy and our supporters happy.
Responding on behalf of the players, skipper of the team, Omololu Waheed, thanked the chairman management for believing in them, assuring that they will surely make them proud at the end of the season.
