26 Schools set to lock horns at 2025 CCII PG U-15 Female Tournament

The ancient city of Ibadan, the home of the first, will once again be set agog with a new brand of football among secondary school female students in the eleven (11) Local Governments as the organizer, the Central Council of Ibadan Indigene (CCII), held the draws for the Inter-Secondary School Female U-15 Football Tournament.

Ibadan, being a repository of football talents, is set to further advance its pace in producing world-class players for Nigeria and other advanced leagues in the years to come.

The eleven participating Local Government teams are:

- Ibadan South East
- Ibadan North
- Ibadan North East
- Ibadan North West
- Egbeda Local Government
- Lagelu Local Government
- Oluyole Local Government
- Ona Ara Local Government
- Iddo Local Government

The Sports Coordinator of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigene (CCII), Coach John Kayode Ogunleye, aka Coach John Kay, said that the tournament is expected to produce promising talents for the nation.

"The draws for the CCII PG Cup for the 2025 U-15 female football team in Ibadan will serve as a pool of talent for the nation, and CCII has set the ball rolling to raise world-class players in the years to come," he said.

"I’m pleased to announce the participating teams for the 2025 CCII Female Football Tournament, which will run from February 10th to 25th, 2025, at Wesley College, Elekuro, Ibadan."

"There will be awards for the Highest Goal Scorer, MVP, Best Behaved Team, Best Coach, and Best Goalkeeper."

The participating teams are:

3. St. Clare's Girls High School, Oluyoro
4. Aperin Oniyere Commercial Secondary School, Adesola
5. Bishop Phillips Academy
6. Liberty Academy, Odo Ona
7. Olubadan High School, Aperin
8. Ibadan Grammar School
9. Baptist Secondary School, Oke Ado
10. Methodist Secondary Grammar School, Elekuro
11. Community High School, Agbowo
12. Christ High School, Oleyo
13. Oluyoro Girls Grammar School, Padre Oluyoro
14. Urban Day Grammar School, Old Ife Rd
15. Bashorun Ojoo High School
16. Community High School, Abudoro
17. Ojoo High School
18. St. Theresa's College, Oke Ado
19. Ogbere Community High School, Idi Osan
20. Isabatudeen Girls High School
21. Onireke High School
