2025 Veterans' Football clash kicks off

The fourth edition of the veterans' football competition successfully launched yesterday, bringing together nine local teams in a spirited display of community solidarity and football prowess at the Nurudeen Football Academy Playing Ground.

The tournament, organized by Sarkin Hausawa and the Nurudeen Football Academy's veterans, showcased remarkable competitive spirit and tactical prowess among the veteran footballers in the opening matches.

In the first encounter, Community FC (All Star 2) and Bala Ali (All Stars) played to a tense 0-0 draw, demonstrating the defensive skills and strategic gameplay characteristic of experienced players.

The second match proved equally compelling, with Community FC (All Star 1) and Nurudeen Veterans battling to a balanced 1-1 result, reflecting the evenly matched capabilities of these seasoned teams.

The venue, Nurudeen Football Academy's playing ground located adjacent to Witty Kitty School in Anguwa Hashim Mararaba, provided an ideal setting for this community-driven sporting event.
