2025 NWFL season: Rivers Angels to unveil technical crew

Rivers Angels Football Club is set to usher in a new era with the introduction of their head coach, Tosan Blankson, alongside the team's squad and jerseys for the upcoming season.


The grand unveiling is scheduled for Sunday, January 12th, at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Elekahia, providing fans and the media with an exclusive preview ahead of the league kick-off.


Rivers Angels General Manager, Matilda Otuene-Onyiloha, highlighted the importance of connecting with supporters and presenting the team that will represent Rivers State in the upcoming season.


“This marks a new chapter for Rivers Angels. We want our supporters to meet the players who will proudly wear the badge of Rivers State as the league begins on January 15th,” she said.


“We deeply appreciate our fans and encourage them to attend in large numbers on Sunday at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium.
This unveiling is for them, and we are excited to celebrate with them at the stadium.”


Rivers Angels will officially kick off their season on January 15th with a home match against Ibom Angels at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.


Fans are invited to join the unveiling event as the Jewels of Rivers begin their quest for glory in the new season.
