2025 NWFL Match Day 7: Nasarawa Amazons face league contenders, Remo Stars Ladies

Following the team's recent victory over visiting Heartland Queens of Owerri, Nasarawa Amazons Football Club head coach, Christopher Danjuma Musa, has admonished his team to maintain their momentum as they aim to secure a strong position against Remo Stars Ladies.  


A full-strength squad, including Akekeromowei Janet, Shobowale Olushola, Mathias Josephine, Isah Sikiratu, and Unachukwu Udoka, has arrived in Ikenne for Matchday 7. Meanwhile, Remo Stars Ladies boast a talented squad featuring top goal scorer Bolaji Olamide, Patience Innocent, Opeyemi Sunday, Akudo, and more.  


Nasarawa Amazons will face Remo Stars Ladies for the first time in the NWFL Premiership. However, many of the players have previously played against the Amazons in the league with different teams.  


The two teams have only met in the 2023/24 President’s Federation Cup quarter-finals and pre-season tournaments.
