2025 NWFL Match Day 5: Nasarawa Amazons set to battle Edo Queens

In an eagerly anticipated encounter, Nasarawa Amazons FC will visit Edo Queens FC at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin, on February 12th, 2025, for Matchday Five of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership 2024/2025.  


Riding high on momentum after defeating Ekiti Queens FC on Matchday Four at the Lafia City Stadium, the Nasarawa Amazons are brimming with confidence as they aim for victory in Benin.  


Currently sitting second in Group A with 9 points, Nasarawa Amazons are gradually climbing the table, while Edo Queens FC, in third place with 8 points, remains unbeaten.  


Both teams have showcased remarkable performances so far, setting the stage for an exciting clash.  


Coach Christopher Danjuma has expressed his determination ahead of the match, stating:  
"We are in Benin to win. I know it's going to be tough, but we are equal to the task. The whole crew and my girls are highly motivated."
