2025 NWFL Match Day 1: Nasarawa Amazons host Dannaz Ladies in season's opener

As the new season beckons, Nasarawa Amazons will play host to Dannaz Ladies of Lagos at the Lafia City Stadium in one of the 2025 Nigeria Women Football League Premiership Match Day 1 fixtures.  


The A.A. Sule girls will be determined to secure maximum points, as a positive start at home could significantly define their season.  


Still basking in the euphoria of their Betsey Obaseki Pre-Season Tournament win in Benin, the Lafia landladies will look to continue their upward trajectory.  


The game, scheduled for Wednesday, promises to be an exciting encounter as the team plays in front of its loyal fans.  


There are no injury concerns, and the quartet of Josephine Mathias, Sikiratu Isah, Yina Ado, and Janet will be available for selection in this encounter.  


The last time Dannaz Ladies visited Lafia, they suffered a 3-1 defeat.  


Both sides have previously met twice in competitive games, with the Amazons winning one and the other ending in a draw.  


The match will kick off at 4:00 PM at the magnificent Lafia City Stadium.
