2025 Nigeria Beach Soccer League gets March kick off date

The Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) management has unveiled the calendar of activities for the fifth edition of the league, set to begin in March 2025.


Club registration will take place from March 5 to 20, followed by a virtual refresher program for coaches and referees from March 24 to 26.


The league will officially kick off with the first round in Kebbi State from March 31 to April 3.


Round two is scheduled for June in Kaduna State, while Anambra State will host round three in August. The top-performing teams after the third round will advance to the Super Finals, set for December in Akwa Ibom State.


Defending champions Kebbi Fishers BSC have dominated the league, winning three of the last four editions (2021, 2023, and 2024), while Kada BSC claimed the 2022 title.


The 2024 edition featured Kebbi Fishers BSC, Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors, Kebbi United BSC, Kada BSC, Nmanko Patigi BSC, and Jigawa Golden Star BSC.
