2025 NBSL releases fixtures ahead of games

Eight (8) teams are set to battle for the 2025 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) title as the draw for the season was conducted in Birnin Kebbi on Sunday.


The eight teams were placed into two groups of four.


Group A comprises the defending champions, Kebbi Fishers, who will face last season’s runner-up, Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors, Nmanko Patigi BSC (Kwara State), and Ibom BSC (Akwa Ibom State).


Group B includes the 2022 champions, Kada BSC (Kaduna State), alongside Kebbi United BSC, Niger BSC, and Jigawa Golden Star BSC.


Each team will play three matches in every round, starting with Round One in Kebbi, scheduled to kick off on Monday, March 31.


This will be followed by Round Two in Kaduna State and Round Three in Anambra State.


The qualification format for this season has changed from the Super Four to the Super Six.


This means that the top three teams from each group will qualify for the Super Six in Akwa Ibom (December).
