It has been a rain of goals as the 2025 Nigeria Beach Soccer League kicked off on Sunday in Birnin Kebbi.
Kada BSC was the first to send warning signals to the rest of the field, hammering Kebbi United BSC 10-2 in the opening match of the competition.
Tanko Emanuel grabbed a hat-trick, while the duo of Mamman James and Dozie Frank each scored a brace to help Kada secure the Group B win in Birnin Kebbi.
Matchday one action concludes with two evening fixtures, starting with Jigawa Golden Star BSC against Niger BSC. In Group A, Ibom BSC will collide with Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors.
For matchdays two, three, and four, there will be three games per day, consisting of one morning match and two evening games.
Round one of the league in Birnin Kebbi is scheduled from March 31 to April 3, 2025.
The second round is slated for Kaduna State, followed by Round Three in Anambra State. The top three teams from each group will then advance to the Super Six Playoffs in Akwa Ibom State.
