2025 CHAN Qualifiers: Super Eagles B Resume Training with 19 Players

The training session took place in the evening at the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

 

The team will not observe a Christmas holiday and will hold a single training session on Wednesday, December 25, at the same training pitch. This session will feature an increased number of players, as five who were unable to make the trip to Ghana have been called up to join their teammates.

 

Having played to a 0-0 draw with Ghana's Black Galaxies in the first leg in Accra, the home-based Eagles need an outright win to secure a spot in the 2025 Championship of African Nations Cup (CHAN). The overall winners between Nigeria and Ghana will represent WAFU B at the biennial competition.

 

The second leg will be held at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
