2024 Sheroes Cup: Naija Ratels, Remo Stars ladies, Nasarawa Amazons, soar to victory

Naija Ratels and Remo Ladies both recorded emphatic victories, while Nasarawa Amazons secured a slim win, and the battle of the Queens ended in a stalemate as Heartland held Bayelsa to a draw on Match Day 4 of the 7th edition of the Sheroes Cup.


Heartland Queens played out a 1-1 draw in the early kick-off. Emmanuella James gave Heartland the lead in the 16th minute, only for Bayelsa to equalize through Mercy Omoku a minute later.

Nasarawa Amazons snatched a slim win over Ekiti Queens to continue their winning streak. The only goal of the game came from Odoh Bibiana in the 33rd minute.


For Remo Stars, it was a barrage of goals as they destroyed Honey Badgers 5-0. Ikyah Joy scored an own goal, giving Remo the lead in the 8th minute. Favour Damalis doubled the lead just before halftime, and Anna Ibrahim made it 3-0 in the 63rd minute.


Two late goals in the last ten minutes from Arubo Oluwaseyi and Nneka Eke completed the rout.


In the final game of the day, host team Naija Ratels defeated Dannaz Ladies 3-0.


Ikpa Janet opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a well-placed header after a solo run from Adanna. Omeke Miracle scored an own goal to double the lead, and Agama Zipreke continued her good form in front of goal with the third goal 15 minutes from time to seal the win.


The Sheroes Cup will continue with the Sheroes Seminar and Awards 2024 before action in the final rounds of the group stage begins on Saturday. Whipping girls Nazareth Ladies will face Bayelsa Queens, while Remo Stars Ladies' impeccable form will be put to the test against the stubborn Abia Angels.


All games will be played at the Area 3 pitch.
