2024 President Federation Cup: Shooting Stars dumps Lobi Stars FC out of race

Shooting Stars Football Club has progressed to the round of 16 of the President Federation Cup after defeating another NPFL side, Lobi Stars, at the Awka City Stadium in one of the round of 32 matches played across the country.


The playmaker for Oluyole Warriors, Christian Pyagbara, opened the scoring for the team as early as the 7th minute, while substitute Adams Agba’a got the second goal in the 74th minute with a sublime finish off a well-laid pass from Ayobami Junior, securing Shooting Stars' spot in the next round.


The winner of the President's Cup will represent Nigeria in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
