Ahead of the 2024 NLO Division One League, Ikere-Ekiti Football Club-based side, Olukismet FC, has intensified their training and is ready to put on a better performance for the upcoming football league season.
According to the club's media officer, Blessing Akinyemi, the team is well-drilled, prepared, and ready for the Division One League season.
Olukismet FC has been drawn alongside Adamimogo FC, OSOPADEC FC, AbleGod FC, Agbana Wonderful, and Owo-based side Emmalex FC in the Akure center of the NLO season.
Akinyemi Blessing noted that the team was well-prepared and motivated by the club chairman, Prince Olumide Adegboye.
Speaking on behalf of the head coach of the club, Oladeji Atobaje affirmed that the team has intensified their training massively and is raring to compete with their opponents aiming to top the group.
Olukismet FC will open their campaign against Agbana Wonderful in a mouthwatering encounter on April 20 at 4 pm and play AbleGod FC in their second group game.
After that, they will trade tackles with Adamimogo FC before they face OSOPADEC FC and Emmalex FC in the fourth and fifth matches respectively.
The 2024 NLO season is expected to kick off on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
Over 153 teams are penciled down to participate in the new NLO season.
