2024 Guasu/Ahlan Pre Season Cup: Lobi Stars, Kano Pillars, others set for Group C battles

Lobi Stars Football Club has been drawn into Group C of the upcoming Gusau/Ahlan Pre-Season Tournament, where they will face Nigeria Premier League powerhouse Kano Pillars, as well as Mighty Jets of Jos and Discovery Academy from Kebbi.


The tournament, scheduled to kick off on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, in Jos, will feature several other prominent teams, including Plateau United, Niger Tornadoes, Kwara United, Nasarawa United, and Wikki Tourists, among others, who have been placed in different groups.


Renowned for its competitive edge, the Gusau/Ahlan Pre-Season Tournament consistently attracts top-tier clubs from across the nation.


For Lobi Stars, this event is more than just a series of warm-up games; it is a crucial opportunity to assess their preparedness for the challenges that lie ahead in the upcoming season.


Having departed from Makurdi on Sunday, the 'Alia Boys' are now in a training camp in Jos, fully focused and ready for the tournament's kickoff.
