2024 BOWFT: Nasarawa Amazons set winning target against Remo Stars Ladies

The stage is set for another epic clash as Nasarawa Amazons take on Remo Stars Ladies in the quarterfinal stage of the 2024 Betsy Obaseki Women Football Tournament (BOWFT24) in Benin City.


The A.A. Sule girls will face off against their NWFL counterparts at the Uniben Sports Complex turf.


Nasarawa Amazons kicked off their campaign in style, thrashing Confluence Queens of Lokoja 4-0 at the Uniben Sports Complex Stadium on Tuesday evening.


The team then finished their second match against Abia Angels with a 1-0 victory, setting the tone for their next challenge in the quarterfinals against Remo Stars Ladies.


A win against Remo Stars Ladies will catapult Nasarawa Amazons into the semifinal stage, solidifying their position in the competition.


As they move closer to the trophy, the Lafia-based side is determined to leave no stone unturned to secure a spot in the semifinals.


The two teams have met once before in the 2024 Federation Cup quarterfinals, with Remo Stars Ladies winning in a penalty shootout, but Nasarawa Amazons will do everything they can to win in regular time this game.
