2024 AFCON: Super Eagles Coach, Peseiro invites six new players for Sao Tome and Principe match

Posted : 04 September 2023
The Super Eagles Technical Adviser has extended invitations to several key players for the upcoming final-day qualification series match against Sao Tome and Principe in Uyo. Among those called up are on-field captain William Ekong, defender Tyronne Ebuehi, Semi Ajayi, midfielders Wilfred Ndidi and Frank Onyeka, and forwards Moses Simon, Victor Osimhen, and Taiwo Awoniyi, among others.

Peseiro has assembled a squad that includes three goalkeepers (including home-based Olorunleke Ojo), eight defenders, four midfielders, and eight forwards for the game, which is scheduled to take place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Sunday, 10 September.
