Sunshine Stars have completed the summer signing of forward Isaac James from Remo Stars on a loan deal, with an option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the 2024/25 season.
James had a challenging campaign last season due to injuries, which affected his playing time with coach Daniel Ogunmodede's Remo Stars, who finished in second place behind champions Rangers International.
James also featured for the Sky Blue Stars during the recently concluded 2024 ValueJets Cup in Ikenne, which was won by Remo Stars. Before leaving Ikenne to join the Akure Gunners on loan, he expressed hope of making the move permanent after the season.
This latest move to Sunshine Stars marks a fresh start for the Benue-born forward, who is expected to make a significant contribution to Kennedy Boboye's side as they prepare for the new football season.
