Newly-promoted Nigeria Premier Football League side, Ikorodu City FC, has officially announced the acquisition of goalkeeper Olughu Chinemerem from Coal City FC of Enugu. The club, popularly known as the "Oga Boys," revealed the signing ahead of the upcoming 2024/2025 football season. Chinemerem, a highly rated goalkeeper, inked a two-year deal with Ikorodu City FC. During the 2023/2024 season, Chinemerem represented Coal City FC in the Nigeria National League (NNL), Nigeria’s second-tier football division.
