2024/2025 season: Heartland FC to unveil new players Sept. 5

The Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri will come alive this Thursday, September 5th, as Heartland FC, Imo State’s beloved team, unveils their newly signed players ahead of the new season’s kickoff. 


The Naze Millionaires will present their new recruits to their passionate fans from Imo State and its surroundings. 

 


This special event will also mark the inaugural edition of the Dan Anyiam Cup. 


Named in honor of Nigeria's first captain, who was also a former coach of the club, the Dan Anyiam Cup will serve as a dress rehearsal before the club plays its first game of the season. 


It will be a friendly match with a trophy at stake. 


This year, Heartland FC will host Kun Khalifat FC of Owerri, a team from the Nigeria National League, for the first edition of the Dan Anyiam Cup. The event will start at 4 p.m. with the unveiling and continue with the friendly match, which is expected to kick off at 5 p.m. 


The game will be played under floodlights, and the winner will be awarded the Dan Anyiam Cup. 


Exciting programs are lined up to entertain the club's supporters and fans on Thursday. Don’t miss this momentous occasion at Owerri's Dan Anyiam Stadium.
