2024/2025 NWFL Match Day 9: Nasarawa Amazons storm Lagos for super showdown against Dannaz Ladies

Nasarawa Amazons Football Club of Lafia are currently in Lagos for a battle against the host, Dannaz Ladies, in Match Day 9 of the Nigeria Women's Football League (NWFL) 2024/2025 season.


Nasarawa Amazons are 4th in Group A with 15 points from 8 matches and are confident of securing their second away win of the ongoing Nigeria Women’s Premiership League season.


The Lafia landladies are determined to claim all three points from this crucial away game to improve their chances of securing a spot in the Super Six at the end of the season.


A win in this away encounter would further guarantee the team a spot in the Super Six, where the league winners will be determined, and the champions will represent the country in the CAF Women's Champions League for the 2025 campaign.


In the first matchday of the NWFL Premiership 2024/2025 season, Nasarawa Amazons hosted Dannaz Ladies in a hard-fought match, where the Lafia Landladies won with a last-minute goal at the Lafia City Stadium.
