2024/2025 NPFL season: Sunshine Stars vow to approach second stanza with renewed energy

The management of Sunshine Stars FC assured its fans on Sunday that the team will remain focused and approach the second stanza of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) with renewed energy.


The Chairman of the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA), Bamidele Ologunloluwa, made this statement in Akure, the state capital, while welcoming the players back from the New Year holiday.


Ologunloluwa emphasized the need to strengthen the team with quality players following a critical assessment of the team's performance in the first stanza.


He assured supporters and stakeholders that Sunshine Stars will turn over a new leaf and called for continued support and understanding.


According to the President of the club, "With the support of everyone, Sunshine Stars will bring joy to the faces of our supporters with a relatively good performance."


"We thank our supporters for standing by us through thick and thin, and we are soliciting more support from them."


"I believe in the technical expertise of the coaching staff led by Abubakar Bala, and positive results will come our way as we regroup for the second stanza of the league."


"With God on our side, our inability to convert goal-scoring chances will become a thing of the past with ongoing planning."


"I wish the players a happy resumption and a new year filled with joy, happiness, and opportunities."
