The newly acquired Enyimba International striker, Brown Ideye, has expressed his optimism about the club and the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The former West Bromwich Albion attacker recently returned to the NPFL and signed for the People's Elephant just a few days ago.
He made his debut in their home draw against Plateau United on Monday and remains steadfast in his belief in the club's potential.
Ideye also shared his hope for the league's growth and improvement in the future.
"We still have a lot to do because the league is still young.
"The first round has just ended, and we still have the second round. We have to work together as a team and ensure we correct our mistakes.
"I think we can compete, and we will get there soon. For players like me, coming back to the league is a good thing," he said.
