2024/2025 NPFL Mid-Week Match Day 14: Plateau United coach optimistic about win in Uyo

Ahead of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 14, Plateau United's Technical Adviser, Mbwas Mangut, emphasized the importance of building on their recent victory against Nasarawa United.


The Peace Boys secured a 2-0 win over Nasarawa United in Jos on Sunday.

The former NPFL champions are set to face Akwa United in one of the mid-week fixtures of the 2024/2025 NPFL season.


Mangut expressed confidence in his team's ability to secure points in Uyo.


“For us to be comfortable in our position on the log, we need to earn points as quickly as possible,” Mangut told Plateau United’s media team.


“We will approach the Akwa United game with determination. Football is nothing without the fans, as they bring so much energy to the game.”
