2024/2025 NPFL Mid-Week Match Day 14: Katsina United targets away win in Umuahia

The coach of Katsina United, Bashir Sadauki, stated that his team would aim for an away win against Abia Warriors during the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Mid-week Match Day 14.


The Ikon Allah Boys defeated Remo Stars 2-0 at the Muhammad Dikko Stadium last weekend. The coach emphasized that if they can lose at home, they are equally capable of securing victories away.

"If you look at how the league is going, any team can be beaten at home. So wherever we play, I always tell the boys to aim for points," Sadauki said.


"If we can lose at home, then we can also go to away games and compensate for what we lose at home," he insisted.


Katsina United will face Abia Warriors at the Umuahia Township Stadium.


For Abia Warriors FC, this is an opportunity to secure maximum points in front of their home crowd after a goalless draw against their local rivals, Enyimba International FC of Aba.
