One of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and Kwara United FC's key forwards, Emmanuel Ogbole, has left the Nigerian club to join a club in Libya.
The deal came after the postponement of the 2024 Championship of African Nations tournament, and another Home-based Eagles player has made a move abroad.
Emmanuel Ogbole, a key forward for Kwara United and a standout member of the Home-based Eagles, has completed his transfer to Libyan club Olympic Azzayewa.
The 21-year-old striker was one of the top performers in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season, scoring 7 goals in 11 appearances for the Afonja Warriors.
He also played a crucial role in helping the Home-based Eagles secure their spot in the CHAN competition. Before his time with Kwara United, Ogbole also had a stint at Nasarawa United.
