2024/2025 NPFL mid season transfer: Ikorodu City targets UNILAG's Best Goalkeeper

Ikorodu City FC of Lagos has handed a golden opportunity to University of Lagos graduate and goalkeeper, Ayo Hendricks, to come for a trial at the club.


This invitation was extended to Hendricks by Adepoju Samuel, a director at the club, on Friday after the goalkeeper announced his graduation.


Hendricks finished as the best goalkeeper in his school, with the most clean sheets, the most goals scored as a goalkeeper, and was also awarded Sportsman of the Year in both his department and faculty.


He also holds a FASU silver medal and a Gold Playball medal.


Hendricks is tall, uses both feet well, and has the ability to play from the back with sharp reflexes. He was a fan favorite during his time as a goalkeeper for UNILAG.


He was outstanding in the NUGA Games and also distinguished himself in the FASU Games.


This invitation from Ikorodu City, which excites him, could be an opportunity for the young goalkeeper to turn professional.
