2024/2025 NPFL mid season: Kano Pillars FC in seven goal thriller match up against Team B

Super Eagles B and Kano Pillars star defender Nelson showcased his skills and made a triumphant return in a friendly match held today at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofarmata.  


The match, organized by Kano Pillars, served as preparation for the upcoming second stanza of the Nigeria Premier Football League 2024/25 season.  


The game kicked off at 2 p.m. and featured an exciting contest between the senior team and the Kano Pillars Junior team.  


The match was evenly poised at 3-3 until the introduction of Nelson in the second half.  


His decisive contribution came when he provided a crucial assist for Zulkifilu Muhammad, who netted the winning goal to secure a 4-3 victory for the senior team.  


Nelson said he was thrilled to play a part in the goal: "Overall, it was a great team effort and a good preparation for us heading into the second round."  


The thrilling encounter not only highlighted Nelson's defensive prowess but also his playmaking ability, leaving fans excited about the team’s performance in the upcoming league fixtures.
