As the battle between Niger Tornadoes and Katsina United for the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) approaches, the visitors, Ikon Allah Boys, seek to extend their perfect away record.
This season, the Ikon Allah Boys have been impressive, winning an astonishing four away games—a streak they hope to maintain when they meet the Changi Boys at the Mohammad Dikko Stadium in Katsina.
Katsina United FC, meanwhile, has been cautious in its home games, having dropped only two points against league leaders Rivers United in a goalless draw.
With Niger Tornadoes yet to secure a win on home turf at the Bako Kotangora Stadium in Minna, especially following a disappointing 0-1 defeat to league leaders Rivers United FC, attention is now focused on the away game against the Changi Boys.
The Ikon Allah Boys suffered their first home defeat of the campaign against Rivers United on Monday.
Niger Tornadoes’ head coach, Mohammed Marjin, expressed his determination to approach the game against Katsina United with focus and resilience.
“We go again, more focused and determined, as we shift attention to our weekend clash against Katsina United on Saturday,” said Marjin.
Niger Tornadoes are yet to experience a defeat in their away fixtures in the NPFL this season.
